The margin of error on these poll figures should have been given. Why is Trump getting increased support from Black, Hispanic and low income voters? These are the oppressed masses Marxists are supposed to appeal to. All the Marxist groups are small sects is one of the problems as they can't get their message out to the masses (a major exception seems to be in Seattle). Neither monopoly capitalist party can solve the problems facing the masses-- job security, lack of funds for infrastructure, medical care, education, environmental protection, ending gun violence, slashing the military budget, police violence, voter suppression, institutional racism, homelessness, public health, child care, etc. Millions are turned off of the two party system and won't vote for either party or vote at all--14% of the voters. Liberals posing as leftists trying to build support for Biden and the Democrats only increase the Trump protest vote. The left should be calling out both imperialist parties and trying to build a real socialist alternative. This will at least begin to increase class consciousness in the masses -- especially in the labor movement dominated by the labor lieutenants of the capitalist class. At the present moment fighting 'fascism' by pushing the Democrats does't seem to be working. Only an independent radical left alternative can generate the energy to really defeat Trump in the long run-- a mass movement that pushes the Democrat's base to the left at the very least while laying the foundations for a real socialist movement, a nucleus may form around the Cornel West campaign. This should be aimed at the those stay at home masses who have lost faith in bourgeois politics -- the Democrats can fight their own battles.
